1. Welcome to Fika Pause™
Fika Pause™ ("we," "us," "our") offers a free wellbeing experience inspired by the Swedish tradition of fika — small daily pauses for connection, reflection, gratitude, hospitality, presence, and time in nature. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
2. Not Medical Advice
Fika Pause™ is a wellbeing and lifestyle app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content is for general informational and reflective purposes only. Always consult a qualified professional for medical or mental-health concerns. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Fika Pause™ (or the minimum age required in your country). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use & Community Standards
Fika Pause™ is a kind and welcoming community. You agree not to post or submit content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, misleading, or that infringes the rights of others. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards. Objectionable content and abusive users may be reported in-app and we aim to act on valid reports within 24 hours.
5. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as reflections, conversation starter suggestions, place or pop-up submissions). By submitting, you grant Fika Pause™ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share that content as part of the service.
6. Free Service
Fika Pause™ is currently free for participants, partners, and supporters. Optional donations or sponsorships, if offered, are described at the point of purchase.
7. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from your Profile screen. Deletion removes your account and associated personal data from our active systems. Some records may be retained as required by law or for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fika Pause™ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Fika Pause™ after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
